Terms of Service

OmniDex lets you store contacts and reach them by call or text through one shared phone number. Callers dial that number, enter a PIN, and the assistant asks whether to call (1) or message (2) the contact you name. You can also text contacts from the Messages tab in the app. The product includes a browser dialer, in-app messaging, credit packs for calls and texts, and (for administrators) access codes and switchboard tools. Features may change as we improve the service. We will not surprise you with a different product than the one described here without notice.

You must provide accurate account details (typically a phone number, password, and recovery email) and keep them current. You are responsible for activity under your login and for protecting your password and PINs. Do not share your account. If you think someone else has access, change your password and contact us through in-app Settings or by calling 1-877-720-OMNI ((877) 720-6664) or (504) 949-7225. We may lock or close an account that looks compromised or that is used to abuse the service.

You decide which contacts to store and which PINs reach them. You are responsible for having a legitimate reason to store someone’s details and to call or text them through OmniDex. Do not use OmniDex to harass, stalk, spam, or contact people who have asked you to stop. If a contact asks to be removed, remove them. We may suspend accounts that use the directory, PIN routing, or messaging to bother others.

Inbound calls to the shared OmniDex numbers (1-877-720-OMNI ((877) 720-6664) or (504) 949-7225) are handled by our PIN IVR (powered by Twilio). Outbound calls from the browser dialer use a shared OmniDex number as caller ID where the network allows it. Voice quality, carrier delivery, and caller-ID presentation are not fully under our control. Emergency calling (911 / equivalent) is not a supported use of OmniDex — use a regular phone line for emergencies. You must not use the service for unlawful recordings, robocalls, or anything that violates telephony or consumer-protection law. You are responsible for any recording or two-party consent rules that apply to your calls.

These SMS program terms apply whenever you use OmniDex texting. They are stated here in full — SMS consent is not granted only by agreeing to the general Terms above. OmniDex may send user-initiated texts via the shared OmniDex SMS number (+1 (504) 949-7225) on behalf of account holders to their contacts. Texts can start from the Messages tab or from the PIN line when you choose message (2). Texts you send to your contacts always go out from the local OmniDex number, never from the toll-free line 1-877-720-OMNI ((877) 720-6664). The toll-free line is used only for OmniDex account messages to account holders who opt in (verification codes they request, account notifications, and customer care). Consent to receive these texts is optional and is not a condition of purchase or service. Creating an account does not, by itself, enroll anyone in a marketing SMS program. Messaging consent and opt-in data are used only to send the user-initiated texts you start and to honor STOP and HELP requests. Message frequency varies (user-initiated). Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help. We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You are responsible for having permission to text the people you contact, and for any messages sent from your account.

Optional calling and messaging features are billed as clearly disclosed before you pay — prepaid Square credit packs, per-minute call rates, and per-segment SMS rates. Monthly line subscriptions are not offered yet. We do not store full card numbers; payments are handled by our payment processor. Credits are for OmniDex calling, SMS, and related account charges from the same credit pack. Unused prepaid credit expires as stated at purchase (currently 365 days unless we say otherwise). Fees are generally non-refundable once credit has been applied, except where the law requires a refund or we charged you in error. If your balance is too low, outbound calls or texts may fail until you add credit. We may change prices with notice for future purchases; existing unused credit keeps the value you already paid.

Use OmniDex lawfully and in a way that does not harm other users or our providers. You agree not to: • Send spam, robocalls, or unsolicited bulk communications. • Probe, disrupt, or overload the service, or try to access another user’s data. • Use the shared number or PINs for fraud, impersonation, or illegal activity. • Reverse-engineer or resell the service except as we expressly allow. • Upload content you do not have the right to store. We may rate-limit, block numbers, or close accounts that look abusive. Twilio and other carriers may also block traffic; we are not required to override those blocks.

We aim to keep OmniDex available, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, carrier outages, and third-party failures (voice, SMS, payments, email) can interrupt calling, texting, or sign-in. We may update features, these Terms, or the Privacy Policy. For material changes we will notify you in the app or by email. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the update. If you do not agree, stop using the service and delete your account.

OmniDex, the mycontacts247.com site, and our design, software, and trademarks remain ours (or our licensors’). You keep ownership of the contact data you upload. You grant us a limited license to host and process that data solely to operate the service for you. You may not copy, scrape, or redistribute the product except for normal personal or internal business use of your own account.

OmniDex is provided “as is.” We do not warrant that calls or texts will always connect, that caller ID will always display as expected, or that the service is error-free. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. To the fullest extent allowed by law, OmniDex and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or failed calls or messages caused by carriers or events outside our reasonable control. Our total liability for a claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for OmniDex in the 12 months before the claim (or $50 if you paid nothing). Some places do not allow these limits; in those places they apply only as far as the law allows. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited, such as for fraud or personal injury where a waiver is unenforceable.

You may delete your account at any time in Settings. Deletion removes your contacts and related account data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service. If we shut OmniDex down entirely we will give reasonable notice when we can. Unused prepaid credit is handled as stated in billing communications at that time.
